1) During pregnancy, fat-free, 1%, or 2% (pasteurized) milk would all suffice. You should be drinking about a quart of milk a day. You technically can drink whole milk, but the other options are healthier as they provide the same nutrients you need during pregnancy, just with less cholesterol and fat.

2) As far as o-t-c medications, it’s pretty safe to take Tylenol, Sudafed, Benadryl, Claritin and/or Robitussin. However, do not take anything with aspirin or ibuprofen in it. If you go to a pharmacy, you can always check with the pharmacist on which drugs are safe for you. Drugs that should not be taken under any circumstance during pregnancy are labeled as Category X. Categories A, B, C, and D all have different safety levels. You can read about them here.

3) Any juice is fine during pregnancy, but it’s best to dilute it since it is loaded with sugar. Drink juices made with real fruit and that are high in vitamin C/beta carotene (grapefruit juice, orange juice, papaya nectar, apricot nectar, and carrot juice)

4) Decaf coffee or decaf teas are okay. Regular coffee has caffeine that can drain the fluid from your body which can dehydrate you. The caffeine is also not good for a young developing neurological system. It can make the baby small (similar to the effect of smoking cigarettes)
